Unfortunately, this is something that typically falls onto my plate, and I've been a bit out of commission as of late. I think the general consensus is to do the RAW again, and we'll likely have another group show again before then. If anyone is open for the challenge, I'd love to have some people look into gallery options for the group. Please let me know if you're interested in helping out. Some people before had shown some interest (and I apologize for not responding earlier) and what I've found works best is searching on Chicago Artist Resource or even Craigslist for opportunities to rent out spaces.

I checked the Chicago Artist Resource for available space for a show. The only one I could find (30 day, gallery space) is The Galaxie in Logan Square.

Yes, count me in for RAW, and info on any other art shows/group shows. Please forward info and meeting time, etc. I can help out as free time permits (work ft and grad school, but will do what I can for sure).

I am tentatively interested. I say tentatively because I've got enough going on this summer that I know I won't have much in the way of time, energy, or money to invest in this. I could re-show the prints I made last year for RAW, but wouldn't be able to create anything new.

I am producing a film to be shot (god willing) in July, and then I will probably be going right into rehearsals for the Chicago Fringe Festival (performing early September). If my limited availability is too much of a problem, I'm okay not showing at RAW this year; but if it's workable I certainly wouldn't mind doing so.

I know that last year you submitted one application for the COOP. In reviewing the information on the site it states that only one artist per application. Did we have to do something special in submitting an application last year as a group?

I think the deadline is fast approaching and I'm not sure what's going on with the group (COOP) applying/ participating?
Can we list our full names and maybe phone numbers (those who want to partipcate so we can have a meeting for this? I didn't see any e-mail yet with our names, next steps. Just link to application. Do we for sure have the same space as last year? Who is a contact with RAW that we can call?

Are you still interested in participating in the Ravenswood Artwalk PhotoCOOP show? We held an initial meeting last week to see how many people we ended up with. In addition to the attendees I received a couple of emails about participation but since I didn't hear from you I wanted to make sure you knew that we are proceeding and you are welcome to be a part of this.
