What laptop (PC or Mac) do you recommend for photography?

Hi fellow photographers,
I'm looking to upgrade my laptop, and use for LighRoom, etc.

What do you recommend/use for a laptop? PC (manufacturer and store pref? Microcenter?) vs. Mac? I've been a Mac person since way before they were trendy (like since the 80s), and have only ever purchased Mac's, but am considering PC now to spend less.

Also, what do recommend for digital SLRs?
